Thanks to the developed tourist center with contem¬porary hotels and villas, the arranged paths as well as the numerous accompanying attractions for both active and passive rest, Kopaonik represents one of the most popular and the most visited holiday destinations, not only in the winter, but also throughout the year.

As the largest ski center in Serbia, with about 65 km of trails arranged for Alpine and Nordic skiing and one of the most beautiful centers in this part of Europe, ski centre Kopaonik offer immense enjoyment to all the categories of skiers, from beginners to the most skilful ones. All the paths are very well connected with a cable car and ski lift system, the capacity of which is over 34,000 skiers per hour. On Kopaonik you can ski day and night. In addition to the “Malo jezero” and the “Karaman greben”, the ski center is richer for another night trail on the “Pančić 4b”. In addition to skiers and snowboarders, the “Pančićev vrh” four-seater transports, throughout the winter season, but also in summer, visitors who do not do winter sports, but only sightseeing and who enjoy numerous other activities offered by Mt Kopaonik. Some state-of-the-art six-seaters have been placed on the Krčmar and Gvozdac locations. The construction of the double ski-lift on Mara’s Waters (Marine Vode) has increased the skier transport capacity. The artificial snow systems covers 97% of the skiing field. Enjoying the trails in the absence of snow enables 92 cannons and 244 artificial snow launchers.
Ski center Kopaonik has a Taxi tracksetter, which serves to drive and transport skiers. The skiing season on Kopaonik runs on average from December to May. When the snowy ambient is replaced by the mountain greenery, the skiing continues on the artificial, summer trail of the Krst.

Adrenaline-filled activities, such as mountain coaster, zip-line or tubing, represent a type of enertainment on Mt Kopaonik that is available throughout the year. For the youngest skiers and all other beginners, who are taking their first steps in skiing, there is a “ski nursery” area with a moving track and a carousel which renders the mastering of basic skiing skills easier. In addition to tracks for Alpine and Nordic skiing, the Kopaonik ski centre also has a developed snow park, in which numerous national and international competitions are organized.
