The flora of the territory of Raška municipality, especially Kopaonik and Golija, make this area specific and very attractive. Flora is mostly of autochthonous origin, and its richness and diversity are conditioned by the complexity of time development, the emergence of one and the disappearance of other species. Given the configuration of the terrain, the vertical zone of vegetation is expressed.
The animal world, despite the disappearance of many animal species, is very diverse. Many animals of this region belong to natural rarities and are protected. The most numerous surviving species of the animal world, especially on Kopaonik, are birds, which have about 150 species.
The waters on the Raška area are rich in fish.
